To support this, we offer a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects for all frames. This warranty allows you to see through any manufacturing issues, ensuring your continued satisfaction. However, please note that normal wear and tear is not covered under this policy.
When the time comes to retire your Black Shades after many years of use, we kindly ask that you participate in our eco-friendly initiative by returning them for upcycling. We believe in reducing waste and giving new life to old sunglasses.
To initiate the warranty process, please follow these steps:
- Capture a few clear pictures showcasing the defects present in your Black Shades.
- Email the photos to MamaBear@Black-Shades.com, our dedicated warranty team.
- Include the following information in your email:
- Your original order number
- The email address you used on the Black Shades website
- The shipping address for the new pair of shades
Once we receive your email and confirm the defects, we will promptly begin processing your replacement pair. We prioritize quick resolution to ensure you receive your new shades as soon as possible.

Not feeling it?
At Black Shades, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If, for any reason, you're not quite feeling your shades, you can return them worry-free within 30 days.
To be eligible for a full refund, please ensure that your shades are unused and in their original packaging. We kindly ask that you take responsibility for shipping them back to us within 30 days from the delivery date.
- Contact Mama Bear at MamaBear@Black-Shades.com and provide the following details:
- Email used for the original order
- Order Number
- Black Shades product name that you are returning
- Reason for returning your Black Shades
Once Mama Bear receives your email, she will guide you through the remaining steps.
Please note the following policies and guidelines:
- Returned items must be in the same condition as when delivered, unused and undamaged.
- The 30-day return policy starts from the original purchase date.
- Returns must be initiated through the original point-of-sale, black-shades.com.
- Items marked as "Final Sale" are not eligible for returns.
- Returns are currently not accepted for Canadian, APO/FPO/DPO, and non-US orders. All international sales are considered final.
- Refunds will not be issued for products returned after 30 days from the order date.
- The refund amount will be the product price minus the original shipping fee paid.
- Black Shades is not responsible for products lost in transit, so we recommend using reliable and trackable carriers like FedEx, UPS, or USPS.
- Lens Kits are non-returnable and non-refundable, even if unopened.
